First of all, we had a wonderful dinner last Friday night with Mama T and Grumpy--thank you both so much for meeting us out at The Mellow Mushroom at the last minute! Addison loved getting to see you both!
Addison and I had a great playdate last Saturday with our friends Evie & Lindsey, Avery & Casey and Cyler & Amanda. Lindsey made us a yummy breakfast, Amanda provided much-needed Starbucks on a cold morning, and the babes had a great time playing! We even had a little present exchange, and Addison got a cool shape sorter from Evie! We always have so much fun with you all! Thanks so much!
Not one single picture of Cyler! Next time, we are lining up the kids, mommies too, and taking a picture!
Later in the day, we headed to our good friend Caroline's third birthday party. It was a gymnastics party, and we were so excited to see Addison get to try a few moves, but her nap ran a little late so we missed the gymnastics part. Never fear, we made it in time for a cupcake, which she thoroughly enjoyed! She also had a blast trying to get in on the present-opening action. She's been practicing on the presents under the tree!
Happy Birthday, Caroline!
Checking out Caroline's haul...
Oh yeah, I definitely need one of those...and those...Ooh! and those...

The excitement on her face just seeing the gym makes me very sad that we missed the activities!
Unfortunately, there has been a yucky stomach bug going around, and our house got slammed with it for the better part of last week. Addison woke up Monday night very sick, then I had it the next day, and Daddy was feeling left out, so he got it too. Not a whole lot was accomplished around here last week! We even had to cancel Jim Ed's Christmas party we were throwing for his team, which made us very sad! We had been looking forward to having everyone over!
Benefit to upset tummy: Sharing a milkshake with Daddy!
This past Saturday morning, Addison and I headed to a fundraiser Breakfast with Santa, the proceeds of which went to Arkansas Childrens' Hospital, who we love. One guess where Daddy was: the woods! Our good friends Rachel and McCoy joined us, and Addison and McCoy had a great time eating and playing together! We also saw Katherine and Lesley, the Potter family, the Osbornes, the Patricks...many of our friends!
Waiting patiently for breakfast...
Such buds!
This boy can EAT!
Hey there, Santa!
I like your gloves!
Lily and Asher and their parents...Asher in his very own clothing selection!
Asher and Addison playing!
