Addison visited Dr. Gregory yesterday...we now weigh 12.2 pounds and are 24 1/4 inches long! That's the 95th percentile, for those of you keeping score! Definitely a far cry from the 6.14, 20 1/4 at birth!
She had to have her first round of vaccinations--not fun at all, but doubly unpleasant considering she was already pretty cranky. Mommy was a little sick this weekend, and naturally it trickles down...which made for a fairly bad day, and a really bad afternoon and evening. I wasn't ready for how much those shots would hurt me. Those big tears, coupled with the shrieks of terror, were almost more than Mommy and Daddy could handle. At least she got some pretty sparkly Band-Aids to make her feel better. We tried to cheer her up by offering an ice cream or a treat from Toys-R-Us, but for some reason that didn't work. Maybe one day!

Thankfully, Addison slept great last night and woke up in a really good mood. The smiling, happy child we all know and love has returned!

Driving home from the Doctor's Office...You can't see the snazzy Band-Aids, but I think that sad face says it all.
